Week 2: PINK WORM

Week two. I was sitting at home, bored out of my mind. It was a windy Saturday afternoon, not quite optimal for going outside and catching all the Pokémon. I opened the window, and looked at the trees swaying in the distance. I could hear the sound of the leaves rustling and wind beating against my house. As I sit in silence, pondering my existence, I glance at the clock: the minute hand was at eleven and the hour hand was almost at two. Then it hit me: it was almost time for community day. I immediately jumped out of bed, put on my socks and shoes, and embarked on my next adventure.

If you're new to Pokémon Go, you might not know what community day is. In short, community day is an event happens every so often for exactly three hours. During those three hours, a certain Pokémon's spawn rate and shiny rate are increased drastically. This days Pokémon was Dratini, a little blue worm.

As I embarked on my adventure, I quickly began to run into problems. The wind was very strong, and I struggled to even walk against the wind. The wind was so strong that I felt that if I put my arms out I would even be able to fly away. At one point, I even considered quitting, but I quickly decided against it. Unfazed by the weather, I trekked on, catching every Dratini in sight, no worm was safe. That was when I encountered it. PINK WORM! I found a shiny Dratini! I was ecstatic! YAY!

On to Pokémon of the week. This weeks Pokémon is Starmie. I obtained this Pokémon through special research. It is very cool, and it lives underwater with all the fish and seaweed. It also looks like a starfish.

Overall, this week was quite an adventure! I caught multiple shiny Dratinis, and had lots of fun. I also learned that hard work pays off. No matter what trials and tribulations you face, if you learn to persevere, you will eventually see the fruits of your labor. See you all next week!
